Navajo Indian Watch Ladies Cuff Bracelet Coral Sterling Silver Reed Charley
Navajo Indian Watch Cuff Bracelet Coral Sterling Silver Reed Charley
Reed Charley has hand made some gorgeous tips/cuff bracelet for this watch. The watch has a black face with white numbers. The watch is highlighted by the sterling silver setting. Reed has two lovely coral pieces on either side of the watch on the bands--with sterling silver beading and other accents. What a beauty! Two for the price of one!! A watch and a bracelet!
The cuff part of the bracelet is almost 1/2" wide at the watch and narrows to 1/8" wide at the ends of the bracelet. The watch is 7/8" in diameter. It is a selective with quartz movement. The watch part slides out of the holder when you need to replace the battery--which shouldn't happen for years. When it is necessary, just take it to a Batteries Plus store, or a jewelry counter. As long as you buy a replacement battery, the store will remove and replace your existing battery for free (usually!). Currently there is a plastic spacer holding the stem 'out' so that the battery is not engaged and is not running down.
The inside measurement from end to end is 5-5/8" plus there is the 1-1/2" opening. Just lovely! It fits quite comfortably on my 6-3/4" wrist. Reed has stamped "R. Charley .925" on the back of the bracelet. This will be a treasured item!
Coral is one of a few gemstones of organic origin. Coral is the skeletal remains of marine animals called coral polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls. Most precious coral is found in warm waters. This deep red coral is found in the Mediterranean Sea. The oldest known findings of red coral date from the Mesopotamian civilization, i.e. from about 3000 BC. Believed to bring protection, coral was given as a gift by parents to their young children . Mohs Hardness: 3-4.
